JCS Jasyl Damu supports waste paper recycling and paper tray production project in Turkistan region

JSC Jasyl Damu, in cooperation with the Industrial Development Fund JSC, has provided financial support in the amount of 64 million tenge to SADYK BEREKE LLP for the purchase of equipment for producing paper trays from recycled waste paper.

SADYK BEREKE LLP is a private Kazakhstani company specializing in the collection and recycling of waste paper, as well as the production of egg trays made from high-grade raw materials (not sourced from landfills) and dried using natural gas. Located in the Turkistan Region, the company currently produces up to 1,750 egg trays per hour. In the future, it plans to expand production capacity, increase output, and launch an additional production line to improve quality and efficiency.

The project will deliver the following results:

  • Creation of new jobs in the region, stimulating employment in related industries and improving the economic situation in rural areas;

  • Reduction of waste volume through the use of recycled paper, lowering the burden on landfills;

  • Decreased demand for primary natural resources, positively impacting the environment;

  • Strengthened regional economic resilience in times of crisis;

  • Development of infrastructure for the collection and recycling of secondary raw materials in Kazakhstan.

JSC Jasyl Damu will continue to provide information support to enterprises implementing environmentally significant projects funded through the utilization payment mechanism.
