Online meeting on glass container reuse

On July 21, 2025, JSC “Zhasyl Damu” held an online discussion regarding the feasibility of introducing a glass container reuse mechanism.

The meeting was organized by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". Representatives from the Association of Legal Entities "QazSpirits", JSC IE "Efes Kazakhstan", and the Association of Soft Drinks and Juices of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the discussion.

Telman Sabit, Director of the Waste Management Department took part in the online meeting on behalf of JSC “Zhasyl Damu”. The meeting addressed the barriers to and prospects for implementating such a system, ranging from cost savings to waste reduction.

Companies expressed interest and readiness to submit their proposals. As the result of the online meeting, it was decided to expand the list of participants and continue work in this direction.
